When investing in a high quality strap-on harness like the SpareParts Joque or Deuce we know how important it is to get the sizing just right. To give you the maximum of comfort and control a snug, but not too tight fit is the goal. With that in mind we have put together this illustrated guide to walk you through the measurements you need to make to find which size is right for you. All you will need is a flexible measuring tape and an optional belt.
This guide is for the SpareParts Joque and Deuce. For measurements for the Spareparts Tomboi underwear harness please check out the measuring guide on the product page.
There are 3 simple steps to take to find your fit:
- Measuring the for the belt
- Measuring for the leg loops
- A little bit of maths
Step 1 – Measuring for the Belt
To find the right point to measure you will first need to decide whether you think you will be wearing your strap-on harness high (at the waist) or low (on the hips). If you are not sure, it may be best to measure for a low-ride fit. This is generally the more popular position as it places the o-ring lower over the pubic bone, giving you more control over your thrusts and increasing stimulation for the wearer.

Our model is measuring for the low ride position around the hips.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your hips (or waist if applicable), where you would wear your belt.
- Take the number where the tape measure completes and crosses over itself.
Make sure that the measuring tape is sitting smoothly against your body without being overly tight. It is a good idea to check in a mirror to make sure it isn’t sagging or riding up on your back to make sure your measurement is accurate.

Step 2 – Measuring for the Leg Loops
Once you have decided between a low-ride or high-ride position for your strap-on harness, you want to measure for your leg loops from the same height. The easiest way to do this is to put on a regular belt that sits comfortably at your hips or waist. This is optional, but makes it a lot easier to find where to start and finish your leg measurements.
- Take the tape measure and start by taking the end of it and holding it in the centre of the belt (or where your belt would sit) in line with your belly button.
- Slide the measuring tape between your legs. Select which leg you want to use for measuring and wrap the measuring tape taught around the back of that leg (around the butt cheek) and then bring it back around to the front, meeting back at the centre of the belt where you started the measurement.
- When you are done you should have the measuring tape wrapped fully around one of your legs tautly (but not so tight it restricts blood flow) with the start and end point of the measuring tape sitting at the front and centre of your belt.

Step 3 – Some Simple Maths
You should now have two numbers – your belt measurement and your leg measurement. In order to work out your final size you need to do a little bit of maths.
For the SpareParts Joque:
- Add 3-4 inches (7.5-10cm) to your belt measurement.
- Subtract 14 inches (35.5cm) from the leg measurement.
For the SpareParts Deuce:
- Add 3-4 inches (7.5-10cm) to your belt measurement.
- Subtract 15 inches (38cm) from the leg measurement.
Compare your adjusted measurements to the following size chart to find the size that will work best for you.
Size Chart
| Belt | Leg Straps | |
|---|---|---|
| Size A | 20 – 50 inches 50.8 – 127 cm | 10 – 16 inches 25.4 – 40.64 cm |
| Size B | 35 – 65 inches 88.9 – 165 cm | 14 – 24 inches 35.56 – 60.96 cm |
